Dropshipping refers to a retail business where a store is not required to keep the products it sells in stock. Instead, it acts as the storefront to sell a product, which then gets directly shipped to the customer when an order is placed from the supplier/ manufacturer. 

As a result, you as the seller don’t have to handle the product directly or have to store inventory in warehouses. 

How profitable is dropshipping in India? 

Dropshipping is one of the most profitable business models across the globe. Since you are not responsible for the costs of product manufacturing and shipping, you can start profiting from every sale you make very early on. 

Although, you do need to ensure you’re selling a product that people really care about and need, and have the right supplier by your side. 

Below are a few skills if you master them the money is yours -

• Finding your winning product - if you ask me 60% of a business depends on finding the right winning product. In simple terms find the product which people are milking and which is bringing you sales to keep your business profitable. You start any business the first thing that comes to your head is what to sell and trust me your business relies on this a lot.
• How to sell - Now the second major thing which comes once you solve the problem of what to sell is quite obvious that his how to sell, remember dropshipping is not your orthodox way of doing business, your store doesn’t have any physical presence so it is totally useless if you are not investing money in digital marketing, you need to learn and master the skill of Facebook ads, google ads, etc and continuously you need to find the new ways to bring the targeted traffic to your product els no business can exist without sales right?
• Mastering the Facebook ads - hate it or love it in today’s world of dropshipping you can’t really survive without Facebook or Instagram ads. Mastering the strategies needs money, testing and understanding FB ads needs money. So start investing in FB ads to get results.
• Learn about RTO and Ndr management - most of the immature drop shippers got no idea about the rate of return or non-delivery management, sadly both NDR percentage is really high in India. Learn how to manage both
• Invest in learning and educating yourself - always remember FIRST YOU LEARN THEN YOU EARN - if you don’t learn the skill from a pro-drop shipper or you won’t gain enough knowledge the chances of you being successful is very less’, you will end up losing a lot of money in Facebook ads because you don’t know the right strategies, suppliers, products, etc or way of doing it So my top most advice will be investing in learning.
• Mindset - The right mindset is the most important key to success without it you can’t achieve anything. Most of people have this mindset that making money online is free or it’s like going to the ATM you clicking buttons and money will start pouring out sadly that is not the truth, online businesses are like any other business where you need some capital and skills to start.
